Youngsters and adults alike had a chance to see several animals up close and personal Tuesday morning at the Library summer reading program.

The animals ranged from a tiny tree frog and Madagascar cockroaches to a snake and a grey wolf pup.

Educational information was given on each animal, as to their places of residence, their diet and their usual behavior.

Opportunity was given at the conclusion for each person to come up, touch, and get a personal photo made with the snake.

The program titled Born to be Wild was presented by Animal Tales.
