Donald Thomas Scribner Sr., lifelong resident of Tallahassee, Fl. passed away unexpectedly on Father’s Day, June 17, 2018 at the age of 66. Known as a genuinely kind and gentle man who loved all animals, he will be missed and loved greatly by his family and friends. He especially loved working on the family farm with his son Ryan every weekend and many afternoons. He is survived by wife Sharon; son Donald Jr. and wife Theresa of Tallahassee, son Eric and fiancé Shelby of Tallahassee, son Robert and fiancé Maribel of Denver, CO, son Ryan and wife Michelle of Tallahassee and Michelle’s children Michael and Elizabeth; and his beloved grandson, Chance. The family will receive friends Friday, June 22, 2018 from 6p.m. until 8p.m. at Bevis Funeral Home, 200 John Knox Road, Tallahassee. Private family burial will take place at Tallahassee National Cemetery at a later date. Susie Mozolic of Bevis Funeral Home is assisting the family with their arrangements.
