KC and the produce stand are back for another summer of selling local grown products at a new location.

Kelsey Harrell and Chelsey Jones have set up their business in front of Logue Brothers Furniture on East Calhoun Street and are offering Grady Ranch grass fed angus in several different cuts, Pecan Ridge pecan oil, tomatoes, okra, plums, peaches and several other local grown fruits and vegetables.

Harrell and Jones decided to start carrying Angus beef and Pecan Ridge pecan oil in order to branch out because they wanted to connect local farms and show off their products to the community.

Hank Suber at SK Farms and Long Farms provide Harrell and Jones with most of their produce, which they quickly sell to others who love the freshness just as much as the owners.

Harrell said they have had success at their new location, especially with the new Dollar General being right across the street.

“We are getting a new clientele that we didn’t have last year,” Harrell said. “We have our regulars that found us again, but we are also reaching more people who wouldn’t have seen us previously had we not been here.”

Their hours are 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Customers can check out their Facebook page to see all the fruits and vegetables of the day and check the prices on them.
