Tuesday afternoon, Bainbridge-Decatur County YMCA received some great news.  SHAW INDUSTRIES donated carpet tiles and glue sufficient to re-carpet both their Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms.

Although the YMCA regularly cleans and does the best they can with thier resources, 30+ years of use has rendered the carpet in these areas of the Y in dire need of replacement. Shaw Industries took the YMCA’s need to heart and donated the needed supplies to totally replace the current carpeting in both these rooms.

The YMCA is currently searching for the person who will install the carpet, but wanted to say a huge thank you to Shaw Industries. The YMCA plans to take before and after photos so members can see the difference Shaw Industries has made on the locker rooms.
