ln Lakeland last weekend, Lucretia’s School of Dance competed against dozens of dance studios from around the state and area for prestigious top honors at Showstopper, the largest Dance Competition in the Country.

Their entries placed as follows:

“Tearing Herself Away” received 5th place overall in Senior Advanced Duet/Trio, “Hold Me” received 8th place overall in Senior Advanced Duet/Trio, “Secret” received 6th place overall in Senior Advanced Duet/Trio, “Hard Knock Life” received 7th place overall in Junior Performance Large,

“Shake The Room” received 10th place overall in Junior Performance Small, “I’m A Lady” received 5th place overall in Mini Performance Duet/Trio, “Sassy” received 10th place overall in Junior Performance Large, “Cat On A Hot Tin Roof’ received 2nd place overall in Junior Performance Large, “Bailar” received 3rd place overall in Jamar Performance Small, “Funky Wa 2 C” received 1st place overall in Junior Performance Large, and Lucretia’s School Of Dance received 1 double platinum awards; 6 platinum awards;7 gold awards;

This qualifies them to go to the Showstopper National Finals in either Sandusky, Mashantucket, Myrtle Beach, Kissimmee, Anaheim or Galveston this summer.
