Miss Spooner to wed Mr. Steen

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Shelton Spooner of Bainbridge announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Sheree, to Mr. Jesse Nash Steen son of Mrs. Susan Barnett Steen and the late Mr. Bert Walls Steen of Bainbridge.

Miss Spooner is the granddaughter of Mrs. Bobbie Hartley Olivent of Blakely, the late Mr. William Lewis Olivent of Bainbridge and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Calvin Spooner of Donalsonville. A 1999 Homeschool graduate, Miss Spooner is currently attending ABAC at Bainbridge majoring in Science. She is a member of the Honors Program, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and Sigma Kappa Delta Honor Society.

Mr. Steen is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Barnett of Wetumpka, Alabama, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Morris Steen, Sr. of Shady Grove, Florida. He is a 2001 graduate of Bainbridge High School. He received an Associate of Art degree in Information Technology from Bainbridge State College in 2017, and is currently attending ABAC at Bainbridge where he is pursuing his Associate of Science degree in Science. At ABAC in Bainbridge, he is a member of the Student Government Association and is an Ambassador for the college.

The couple will wed on Saturday, April 28, at the Reynolds Chapel of First United Methodist Church in Bainbridge. Invitations have been sent.
