Spring Arts show honors members for their creative works

In addition to the People’s Choice winner of the Decatur County Artists Guild Spring Show that closed on April 1, there were other members whose work was recognized in their individual categories.
Previously announced People’s Choice winner was Lauren Turner’s “Visitor from Heaven” photograph of a cardinal, a copy of which ran in Saturday’s edition of The Post Searchlight.
Other winners were: Two Dimension: first place, Lyn Morales for her quilted wall hanging titled “Jones Homestead.” 2nd place was Sharon Foulk’s “Problems and perspective,” 3rd was Shawna King for “Remarquable Friendship.” Honorable Mentions in that category went to Ed White, Evelyn Knight and Lynda Todaro.
Three Dimension winners were 1st Place, Sharon Foulk ‘s clay basket, second was Henry Intili’s “Carved Lamp” and third John Bayides A Collage of Colors creation.
Photography first place winner was Becky Bardin’s “Curvaceous”, 2nd went to Lauren Turner for “Peace be Still” and 3rd place to Henry Intili for “Punchbowl Falls, N.Z.
