Adam Chadwick Taylor, 30, of Bainbridge, Ga., formerly of Moultrie, Ga, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Walden, Chief Charlie McCann and Chaplain DeWitt Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Jamie Earp, Justin Roberson, Jim McCann, Travis McCann, Casey Chapman, Chris Loftis, serving as active pallbearers. Decatur County Fire & Rescue, Men of Unity Church of God, Ethan Allegood, Blayton Duncan, Braxton Taylor and Joey Fowler will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 11 to 1 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Chapel in Moultrie and 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Ivey Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 4, 2018.

Adam Chadwick Taylor was born February 19, 1988, in Albany, Ga., the son of Ronnie Wayne Taylor and April Guess Taylor. He was a graduate of Colquitt County High School, Class of 2006. He earned his certification as a firefighter and EMT. Adam married Kristin Faith McCann in 2011. They made their home in Decatur County where Adam served his community as a firefighter/EMT with Decatur County Fire & Rescue.
He was a member of Unity Church of God in Iron City.
Adam was a one-of-a-kind guy. He loved people. which led him to serve others unselfishly. He enjoyed hunting and found the peacefulness of nature in a deer stand or turkey blind. Adam has been described as a “passionate person with a huge heart” and a “most forgiving person”. His passions included farming, his firefighter family, his church, horses and anything to do with the twins. Adam was not so good at golf but he made up for it with his effort to enjoy every moment. He considered Kristin and the twins the good and perfect gifts God promised him.
Survivors include his wife and the love of his life, Kristin McCann Taylor; his children, Conner Wayne Taylor and Madelyn Faith Taylor; his parents, April & Randy Sellers of Moultrie; his grandparents, James B. “Sunny” and Madeline Guess and Curtis H. and Willadean Taylor; his siblings, Cameron Taylor and his wife, Whitney, and April Clayton and her husband, Jamie, also of Moultrie; his nephews, Braxton Taylor and Colin James Clayton and his parents in love, Jim and Linda McCann. Adam was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Taylor.
