Following an extended illness, Dolores Pointkowski entered eternal life peacefully on March 26, 2018.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at St Columba Catholic Church in Dothan, with Monsignor Patrick Gallagher officiating.
Dolores and her husband Henry “Hank” were born in Chicago and in 1946, they were married there. They moved often with Hank’s job and they loved to travel. That combination gave them treasured memories of worldwide adventures. They moved from Bainbridge, Ga. to retire in Dothan in 2006. Shortly before Hank died in 2012, they celebrated their 66th Wedding Anniversary.Dolores was a beautiful and talented lady who enjoyed flower arranging, baking and decorating her home for every season and holiday.
Dolores was preceded in death by her sister Evelyn Cate and her brother Ray Wisinski. She is survived by nieces, Dawn Mayhew, Hebron, Ind. and Roberta Powers, Green Valley Arizona, who wish to express sincere gratitude to Callie Pickett, Frances Williams, Denisha Saffold, Edna Beachem, and Priscilla Gosha, for their devotion to and the loving care they gave Dolores and to Kindred Hospice for their kindness and compassion.
