Dr. Winston Price is pleased to announce receiving a grant of $5000 to help support the Level Up! Decatur County health and wellness educational program.

This sub-component part of the Level Up! program has a focus that will be to teach good citizenship, teach the importance of an education and to create nutrition & exercise skills that will follow them throughout their lives.

The generous support comes from Christos Ministries which is a non-profit organization whose mission is, “To honor the Lord Jesus Christ, to promote His Kingdom and reflect

His unconditional love by providing spiritual, physical and financial support to the needy; providing resources and facilities for the educational development of children in the greatest need.”

Level UP! is designed to focus on enhancing your child’s academic opportunities outside the classroom.

This high-quality instruction opportunity will teach children about good sportsmanship and commitment through introducing them to the lifelong game of tennis. 

Their focus will be to teach good citizenship, the importance of an education, and create exercise skills that will follow them throughout their lives.

Program activities include: Classroom time consisting of volunteer opportunities, crafts, exposure to local leadership; Wellness, nutrition and fitness education; and high-level tennis instruction from a tennis professional in areas such as eye hand coordination, creative movement, agility drills, racquet drills and match play.
