Varsity Bearcats soccer dominate Brooks County

The Bearcats men’s soccer team pounded the Brooks County Trojans into submission on Wednesday night at Centennial Field, devastating the Trojans 8-1.

The Bearcats went on the offensive immediately and dominated the Trojans for the entirety of the 80 minute game.

The Bearcat starting offense, Angel Munoz, Nix McIntosh, Joe Emmons, Kendall Glover, Collin Morrison and Cesar Chiguil, took shot after shot on goal.

But midfielder Gino Pallotti led the scoring against the Trojans, with an incredible 4 goals in the 12th, 31st, 32nd and 34th minutes, two of them unassisted, and the other two assisted by midfielder Cesar Chiguil.

Center forward Nix McIntosh scored the next highest amount of goals, 3 altogether in the 16th, 29th and 46th minutes of the game, one unassisted, one assisted by Angel Munoz and another assisted by Cesar Chiguil.

The 8th and final Bearcat goal came from Angel Munoz in the 49th minute with an assist from Cesar Chiguil.

The Bearcats starting defense consisted of team captain Ben Mulkey, Tom Emmons, Andru Matthews and Adam Pascal. Goalie Matt Hall again appeared in goal. The defense only permitted one score, late in the game in the 69th minute.

The Bearcats host the Veterans Warhawks on Friday night at Centennial Field.
