Get out your Easter baskets; the Easter Bunny is coming to town.
Bainbridge-Decatur County Recreation Authority will be hosting their annual Easter egg scramble on March 24.
The scramble has previously been held on the Saturday before Easter Sunday, but this year that falls during the school’s spring break so it will be held earlier, Valerie Faircloth explained.
There will be three different age categories for children to hunt in: ages 1-3, ages 4-6 and ages 7-10. Each age group will have three golden eggs hidden. The finder of the golden eggs will win an Easter basket, complimentary of the recreation authority. The winners will be announced at the end of the scramble.
Once the egg hunt is over, children will have the opportunity to take a picture with the Easter Bunny.
This fun, family event is free to the general public. Faircloth said she hopes everyone will come out and enjoy the event.
The scramble begins at 10 a.m. sharp at the Performing Arts Building on Boat Basin Circle. For further information call 229-248-2010.
