Randy Pace Whittaker, 66, of Brinson, Ga., passed away Monday, March 5, 2018.
The graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. James Scarborough officiating.

Randy Pace Whittaker was born October 20, 1951, in Jacksonville, Fla., the son of William and Gloria Pace Whittaker. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1970. He married Vickie G. Bennett in May of 1975, and made his home in the Spring Creek/Bethany Community. He retired from Merk & Company.
Randy was a jolly fellow who never met a stranger. He made every person feel like a friend “from way back”. He enjoyed fishing and all that went along with a fishing trip. Randy was a history buff who could spin a tale that always contained a little nugget of wisdom. He particularly enjoyed facts and findings regarding FDR.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Vickie Bennett Whittaker; his son, Stephen Pace Whittaker and his wife, Lauren, of Valdosta; his grandchildren, Merritt & Lilah Whittaker; his mother, Gloria Pace McCullough of Clinton, Pennsylvania; his siblings, Charles Whittaker and his wife, Georgenia, of Bainbridge, Ga., Donna Messner of Clinton, Pennsylvania, Kay Craig and her husband, Kenny, of Clinton, Pennsylvania, Tina Dopudja and her husband, Michael, of Outer Banks, N.C., Frank McCullough of Clinton, Harold “Bear” McCullough of Clinton, Kristie Horner and her husband, David, of Hooktown, Pennsylvania, and Neal McCullough and his wife, Nathania, of Clinton. Randy was preceded in death by his father, William Whittaker; his brother, Harvey “Bunky” Whittaker; and his sister, Shelia McCullough Lane.
