Rotary’s popular Casino Night returns this year, after a two-year hiatus. The fundraiser, titled the Shamrock Shakedown Casino Night, will be held on St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday, March 17.
The event will be at the Charles H. Kirbo Regional Center from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and will feature such games as black jack, roulette, and slot machines—all just for fun. Ticket purchases include “play” money, drink tickets, and heavy hors d’oeuvres by Dwalla.
Back by popular demand will be the photo booth where attendees can pose with their favorite props.
The Pot o Gold Event sponsor this year is Southwest Georgia Farm Credit. Two other high ranking sponsors are Georgia Power and Melinda Taylor State Farm.
A silent auction selection will be available, featuring some interesting, desireable articles. Suggested attire is cocktail appropriate.
Tickets are $60 per person and may be purchased on the Rotary Facebook page, or from the offices of Melinda Taylor, State Farm, 224 S. West Street, or the office of Emily Yent at Edward Jones, 102 E. Broughton St.
This is the major fundraising event for the Bainbridge Rotary Club, and all proceeds go to benefit community and school programs.
