Mrs. Erma Washington Edwards of Tifton, Ga., passed peacefully from labor to reward on February 21, 2018. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Mr. Larry L. Edwards, son Mr. Frederick W. Kinnebrew (Diane) of Fort Worth, Texas and daughter Ms. Tammie P. Hester (Ken) of Marietta, Ga.. Her sisters Mrs. Vivian Means and Mrs. Doris Harbour (William) of Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Sondra Lippett (Abraham) of Bainbridge, Ga. and her brother Mr. Frederick Washington (Fann) of Columbus, Ga.. Also, a granddaughter Trista Aten, four great-grandchildren, Marcus, Madison, Laney and Kasyn as well as a host of other beloved nieces, nephews, step-children, cousins, family and friends.

Mrs. Edwards was a dedicated member of Allen Temple AME Church in Tifton, where she served faithfully for many years. She was a retired educator from the Tift County School System. Mrs. Edwards was an avid foodie who loved to grow, cook and eat her own food. Services for Mrs. Edwards will be held at Allen Temple AME Church, 1908 South Park Ave., Tifton, GA 31793 with a viewing 2/28/18 from 3-6 PM, a final viewing 3/1/18 from 11 AM – 12 PM followed by a Homegoing Celebration at Noon.
