At approximately 8 a.m. on Monday morning, Georgia State Patrol officer Jeromy Roberts reported Kimberly McMillan crashed into a tractor-trailer on Spooner Road and sustained fatal injuries.

The tractor-trailer was reported to be traveling east on GA 38 by Ronald Miller of Elton, Louisiana. Miller slowed in order to make a right turn onto Spooner Rd. Miller noticed his tractor-trailer was being followed by a white 2013 Nissan Frontier pick-up truck, driven by McMillan.

McMillan was following Miller closely and failed to stop or change lanes when Miller slowed to turn. McMillan struck the rear of the trailer, while not wearing a seatbelt. Because she was not wearing a seatbelt, McMillan suffered from fatal injuries. Miller was not injured in the crash.
