The Bainbridge Bearcats got last weekend off to a hot start by beating Cairo in a close match 48-45, but fell the next day to region opponent Warner Robins 59-48.

The game against the Syrupmakers got off to a quiet start, but the Bearcats battled back from a 36-24 going into the fourth quarter, scoring 24 points and holding Cairo to 9.

Bainbridge trailed at the end of every quarter against the Demons, who led 29-16 at halftime. The Bearcats did outscore them 19-16 in the third quarter.

Bainbridge is 6-14 on the season and 1-3 in region, sitting at fourth place.
