Here we are in the middle of January, and it is already time to start thinking about Valentine’s Day and its customs.

One of the happiest Valentine events in Bainbridge is the annual Father-Daughter Dance sponsored by the Firehouse Arts Center.

This year the dance(s) will be held on Friday, February 9 and Saturday, February 10, from 7 to 9 p.m. nightly. Remember you can choose your night by getting your tickets early.

Tickets will be sold in person at the Firehouse Arts Center, 119 W. Water Street, on Saturday, January 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., or purchase online by emailing Ali at artdirector@bainbridgeart.com. The price is $35 for a couple and $10 for each additional daughter with the same father.

This is always a fun time for daughters to dress up and go on a date with Dad.

In addition to dancing to the music of a DJ, there will be refreshments, and a photographer will be available to take photos.
