Anna Margaret Griffith was born November 15, 1933, in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of Willard Burnett Griffith and Bessie Appleby Griffith. She was a graduate of South Park High School, Class of 1952 where she excelled in athletics. Anna proudly served her country in the United States Air Force. She lived all over the country as a military wife until settling in Southwest Georgia in the late 60’s. She retired from Amoco Fabrics and Fibers.

“Grama” was an avid animal lover who would take in any stray animal. Her competitive nature was exhibited in her athletic accomplishments in swimming and diving. “Grama” taught her grands to swim before they learned to walk. Watching synchronized swimming, gymnastics and ice skating was a favorite pastime. She enjoyed the beach and sitting in the sun, reading the newspaper and watching Animal Planet, which paled in comparison to making memories with the grandchildren she loved dearly.

Survivors include her children, Danny Bullock and his wife, Linda, of Texas, Kevin Bullock of Bainbridge, Darlene Bullock Bush and her husband, Steve, also of Bainbridge, and Brian Bullock of Jacksonville, Fla.; her siblings, Lois Ray of Boston, NY, Florence Mortellaro of Phoenix, Arizona, Ruth Reinhard of Eden, NY and Carolyn Anderson of Penfield, NY; her grandchildren, Melissa, Mackenzie, Marlee, Todd, Andy, Jennifer, Ashley and Justin; and her eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Koepka.
