Mildred Joyce Pickren

Mrs. Mildred Pickren, 84, died Saturday, December 30, 2017, at her residence. Funeral services were Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Harris and Rev. David Grubbs officiating. Visitation was Tuesday, January 2, 2018, from 6-8 p.m. at Colquitt Funeral Home.  Interment followed at Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Pickren attended New Salem Freewill Baptist Church and was a retired seamstress.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth Pickren of Colquitt; three daughters, Joyce Drake of Colquitt, Diane (Jacky) Grubbs of Eldorendo and Sandy (Michael) Stolze of Colquitt; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one sister, Debra (Leon) Durden of Colquitt.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Gladys Enfinger Smith; her husband Vernon Pickren and three brothers, Talmadge Smith, Jerry Smith and Keith Smith.
