In 1974 he married Judy Marie Kelley. They enjoyed a wonderful life together until her death in 2010. They were members of Knollwood Baptist Church. The friends at the Shepherd’s Center, where Bubber regularly played in multiple bridge groups, made life without Judy more bearable.

His final weeks were spent doing what he loved, tending his spectacular garden and prized day lilies, which provided immense beauty for the whole neighborhood. Bubber and Judy will be remembered as gracious and caring neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by his dear wife, Judy K. Felty. His loving son, Christopher M. Felty, Sr. and his beloved grandson, Christopher M. Felty, Jr., a sister, Bert Moore, a sister-in-law, Viviane Stark, as well as seven nieces, three grand-nephews and two grand-nieces, survive him.
