Home on Evans Street has classic vibe with traditional decorations

Chris and Randi New have chosen a classic theme to decorate their lovely historic home located at 301 E. Evans Street. It is a theme they have repeatedly enjoyed since they first moved into the home and decorated it for Christmas 1996.
A focal point is the lamp pole on the front lawn. It is decked out with greens, lights and a big red bow under the large round globe.
The banister and rooftop of the wide front porch are outlined with many strands of tiny white lights. Even the A-shaped peak above the porch is outlined, which must have been quite a challenge. Chris said his wife is responsible for all the decorations, including putting the lights on the peaked roof.
A tall beautiful indoor Christmas tree is visible through the front window of the home.
Small lit trees, animals and figures placed in the front yard add a sense of motion, depth and character.
The home truly shines throughout the neighborhood with the warmth of the Christmas spirit.
