Tyrone Wilson Williams

Mr. Tyrone Wilson Williams, 79, of Colquitt, Ga., died Friday, November 24, 2017, at Miller County Hospital.  Funeral services were held Monday, November 27, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Mother’s Home Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Sheffield and Rev. Talmadge Worsley officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery with Tony Griffin, Ryan Griffin, Claude Hill, Bobby Inlow, Bert Williams, John Ray Bailey Jr., Ty Bailey and Ben Dozier serving as active pallbearers. Visitation was Sunday, November 26, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at Mother’s Home Free Will Baptist Church.

Mr. Williams retired from Georgia Pacific and was a member of Mother’s Home Free Will Baptist Church.

He is survived by three daughters, Carol (Jimmy) Inlow of Bainbridge, Ga., Nancy Williams of Colquitt, and Crystal (Steven) Harris of Heflin, Ala.; six grandchildren, Rebecca Gaddy, Jordan Inlow, Nicole Miller, Taylor Ball, Ryan Harris, and Jacob Harris; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Jonie and Ruth Melton Williams; his wife, Martha Williams; one daughter, Linda Jo Williams; two brothers, Curtis Williams and Gene Williams; and one sister, Elizabeth Fick.

Sheffield Funeral Home of Colquitt was in charge.
