GCA is thrilled to be back home for the 17th annual Winter Festival on Tuesday, Nov. 28.  All the fun begins at 4 p.m. with kids rides, petting zoo, clowns, student art auction, silent auction and live auction along with raffle drawings, concessions and a general store.

Ticket sales for the annual Raffle have been going great. Buyers have the opportunity to win one of these prizes: A Beretta A350 Xtrema Max 5 Camo Automatic 12-gauge shotgun, a wonderful Louis Vuitton set (includes purse and piece of luggage), or $1000 Cash.  Tickets can be purchased for $10 or 6 for $50 and will be available up until drawing time on Nov. 28.

The Winter Fest Treasure Chest will be back for its fourth year thanks to Bishop’s Jewelers. Keys will be sold for an opportunity to win a beautiful piece of jewelry valued at more than $2,000. The wonderful pieces in this year’s treasure chest are: 14K white gold diamond pendant, 14K rose gold ring with 2.10ct Morganite stone trimmed with diamonds, and 14K white gold diamond earrings with halo style diamond jackets.  If you are interested in pre-purchasing one of these keys you can email us at infor@gcawinterfestival.org or just purchase the night of the festival. Keys are $20 each, 3 for $50 or 6 for $100.

The Silent Auction is looking great this year with more than 150 items, and we will round out the evening with 10 fabulous live auction items. The Live Auction items include: Holland Freedom Grill, North GA Mountain Week, Handmade Wooden Swing with Arbor, Coastal Weekend Adventure, Private Plantation Dinner Party for 12, “Journey with Gentle Giants” – swim with whale sharks at Georgia Aquarium, Great Smoky Mountain Getaway, Schnauzer Puppy, Two (2) SEC Championship tickets for Dec. 2nd, and four (4) tickets to the Blake Shelton’s Country Music Freak Tour.
