Mr. Hubert Fulton Moore

Mr. Hubert Fulton Moore, age 67, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017.   Services for Mr. Moore will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, October 30, 2017, at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. The Rev. David Grubbs will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Mr. Moore will be interred in Oak City Cemetery.    

Hubert Fulton Moore was born in Bainbridge, Georgia, to Willie Vernon Moore and Elizabeth Cornelia Humphrey Moore. He has been married to Sandra Logue Moore for 26 years. Hubert grew up farming and loved farm life. He enjoyed working with his cows. His wife ran a daycare for many years and he dearly loved those children. Hubert never met a stranger. He loved to talk and visit with people. Mr. Moore was generous and caring. He was a hard worker. Hubert had been employed at the Post Searchlight Publishing Company for 31 years. Hubert Moore leaves a loving family and many, many friends to grieve his passing.

Hubert Moore is survived by his wife Sandra Logue Moore of Bainbridge; children, Tracy Harper and husband, Keith of Tifton, Georgia and Brian Powell and wife, Vicky of Bainbridge; sisters, Betty Moore Zimmerman of Ohio and Sharon Moore Holloway of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Austin Harper, Hayley Harper, Brandon Powell, and Daniel Yearta; his furry companion, Mollie B.; nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins.
