Staff members from Kindred Hospice of Bainbridge collected approximately 1,448 pounds of food donations recently as part of the company’s 13th annual food drive held at Kindred and affiliated home health and hospice locations across the country.

Kindred Hospice employees at the Bainbridge office and their counterparts coast to coast placed food collection bags at healthcare and other facilities in their respective communities and also collected goods in their offices. The Kindred Hospice collection of 1,448 pounds has been donated to the area Salvation Army Food Pantry.

Thanks to generous giving from individuals and organizations in the Bainbridge area and in other communities nationwide, a combination of food and money equivalent to 300,000 meals is being delivered by Kindred at Home, Kindred Hospice and affiliated branches to food pantries and charitable organizations in dozens of states.
