A drawing will be held Wednesday, October 4, at 4 p.m. to pick the winning ticket of the football raffle currently being sponsored by the Bainbridge-Decatur County Humane Society.

The winner will receive a pair of tickets to the FSU vs. Miami Game. This is not just any football game, but the FSU vs. big time rival Miami game that had to be cancelled the weekend Hurricane Irma hit Florida. It has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 7 at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee at 3:30 p.m.

Animal Shelter worker, Ashley White says the two game tickets have been donated by a good friend of the Humane Society and all proceeds from the raffle will go to the Shelter.

Raffle tickets are available from any BDCHS Board member, from the Shelter on Cox Avenue, or via PayPal on the website, bainbridgehumanesociety.com. One raffle ticket is $10, or two for $15.

The value of the game tickets is $135 each.

White also mentioned that volunteers from the Humane Society who will be selling lemonade at PetSense on Saturday will also be selling raffle tickets.
