Fall is a busy time for Firehouse Arts Center

Six weeks of After-School Arts Classes will be offered at the Firehouse Arts Center, beginning next Thursday, September 28. The classes begin at 4:14 p.m. and end at  5:45 p.m.. They continue to be offered weekly on Oct. 5, 12, 19, 26, and Nov. 2. Children in grades one through four are eligible to attend. Classes will be taught by Ali White, who will cover such mediums as mosaics, painting with watercolors and acrylics, drawing, collage making, mixed media, fabrics, seasonal crafts.

Cost is $90 per child, with a discount for multiple children with same parent. To sign up, email White at: ArtDirector@bainbridgeart.com.

The So-So VanGogh class offered on Thursday, October 5, will feature painting a spooky pumpkin scene. It will be taught by Ashley Long. The class will be held at 6 p.m. in the Kirbo room, with entrance across from the Courthouse. All experience levels ae welcome. Each class will be offered refreshments in the form of wine, cheese, crackers, grapes and more. Cost is $35 per individual and includes all supplies and materials.
