Wanda was born December 9, 1965, in Moultrie, Ga., the daughter of Bryan and Angela Wilson. She lived most of her life in Bainbridge and graduated from Bainbridge High School, Class of 1986. Wanda worked as a cosmetologist for 28 years with the great majority of those years being at The Mane Tamer Salon.
Wanda was a thoughtful person with a sweet soul. She enjoyed life and had a positive outlook as evidenced by the smile always on her face. Wanda was always willing to help others and would give you whatever she had. She spent a lot of time outdoors gardening, tending her animals and riding the neighborhood on the golf cart or 4-wheeler. She loved her friends and customers like her family though nothing compared to her children and her sweet Valley. “Red”, as she was affectionately known to many, was a bright spot in a dark world.
Survivors include her children, Durran Brock of Tifton and Katelyn Brock Long and her husband, Caleb, of Dothan; her siblings, Allyn Wilson of Houston, Texas, of Donna Wilson Griggs and her husband, Bobby, of Athens, Ronnie Hudson and wife Rachel of Savannah, Sheila Wilson Martin and her husband, Jody, of Bainbridge, and Belinda Wilson Griffin and her husband, Glenn, of Tifton; her grandson, Valley Taylor Long; her nieces and nephews, Dylan Martin, Cole Griffin, Adam Parkman, Morgan Griggs and Haley Wilson, Lewis McIntyre; her dogs, Jake and Buddy; and the love of her life, Brian Key. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Lisa Wilson and Venia McIntyre.
