Myers then completed his five-year general surgical residency at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.

The family just moved to Bainbridge in June and said they really enjoy it so far.

“It’s a small, quiet town, but it has great access to recreational activities, the Gulf Coast and family,” Myers said.

Myers said he most looks forward to serving the people of Decatur County and outdoor recreation- fishing and hunting.

Along with serving the people, Myers also looks forward to working with Dr. Walker. He said he believes Walker will be a great partner and mentor and someone to really look up to.
