Archbold Memorial Hospital recently welcomed gastroenterologist Scott Farquhar, MD, to the medical staff.

Dr. Farquhar earned a bachelor’s degree from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts and a medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia.

Dr. Farquhar has been treating, diagnosing, and managing gastrointestinal and liver disorders for over 30 years, the last 20 in Valdosta, Georgia.

Dr. Farquhar joins gastroenterologists Louis Lee, MD, Bashar Qumseya, MD and James Sinnott, MD, at Archbold Gastroenterology Group in Thomasville. The practice is accepting new patients and accepts Medicare and most private insurances.
