Lois Bridges Blanton

Lois Bridges Blanton, age 82, died Tuesday, July 4, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2017, at Beggs Funeral Home in Perry, Florida. Visitation is Thursday from 6 – 8 p.m. at Beggs Perry Chapel.

She was born in Madison, Florida to Milton and Cynthia Rowell. She moved to Climax, Georgia in 1995, from Perry. She loved her family and her home. She was a member of Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son,  Wayne Blanton (Patricia), of Climax, Georgia, two daughters, June Whiddon of Climax, Georgia,  and Janice Ross (Nelson) of Perry, Florida, one sister, Joyce Newsome, of Panama City, Florida, eight Grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Evan Blanton, and by three sons, Jimmy, Kenneth, and Michael Blanton.
