Keating Entertainment put on a show starring Reggie the puppet for youth Tuesday morning.

Tuesday morning, The Decatur County-Gilbert H. Gragg Library treated the kids at toddler time to a performance from Keating Entertainment. The focus for this performance was “building a better world with better relationships.”

Reggie the puppet was the star of the show as he taught the kids about the golden rule and sent an underlying message about bullying.

The library said for this month’s programs they have tried to find educational ones that also incorporate a lesson. They said they have been extremely pleased with the turnout, even in the rain and thunder, families continue to come. Every week the YMCA brings students from the kid’s club and smaller daycares also attend.

All the children have something to learn and this is a fun outlet to allow them to gain something from. In Tuesday’s program, Reggie let Bully the puppet talk him into bossing all of his friends around and being unkind to them. But, after a long apology to his friend, Rosie the puppet and the kids telling Reggie he was being mean all was forgiven. The puppets even forgave Bully for encouraging Reggie to act that way.

The library is proud to announce this will not be their last toddler time, as they plan to continue in July on Thursdays at 10 a.m
