Mrs. Cheri Wilson Earp, 53, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017, at her home in Brinson, Ga. Services for Mrs. Earp will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 23, at Brinson Baptist Church in Brinson. Chaplain Dewitt Phillips and Rev. Stanley Phillips will officiate. Internment will follow in Brinson Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 p.m., at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home.

Cheri Wilson Earp was born November 21, 1963, in Plant City, Fla. She was talented in crochet and loved to share her crochet blankets with her family. Cheri enjoyed the beach and sci-fi movies. She enjoyed chocolate and her own sweet-tea. She always carried her sweet-tea with her and made certain she had plenty. She made the very best tea. Cheri enjoyed the latest technology. She was a true “gadget geek.” The dearest and most precious thing to her heart was being a grandma. She cherished the role and enjoyed every minute she was able to spend with grandchildren. Cheri Earp will be greatly missed by the family and many friends she loved so very much.

Cheri is survived by her husband, James Earp of Brinson; sons, Jason Harris of Wagner, SC, Brandon Finley of Woodstock, Ga., Jamie Earp of Brinson, and Ian Edge of Tallahassee, Fla.; and grandchildren, Anthony Harris, Emma Earp, Anderson Edge and Noah Edge. Her father, Jimmie Lee Wilson, and mother, Mary Magielene Kirkland Wilson Speir, preceded her in death.

The family will be gathering at 137 Brinson Airbase Road in Brinson.
