Aldaith Maxine Moore was born November 20, 1929, in Newton, Ga., the daughter of Oscar and Alma Gene Moore. Mrs. Moore passed away on June 8, 2017, at her residence in Bainbridge, Ga.
A native of Newton, Mrs. Moore has resided in Bainbridge for 67 years. She was retired from Amoco Fabrics and Fibers where she worked for over 20 years.
Mrs. Moore was devoted to her family and loved spending time with them. Her favorite time of the year was when the produce came into season; she loved being in the pea patch and enjoyed spending time at Long’s Produce. Her son-in-law, Jerry Allen, her brother, Eugene Moore and her parents Oscar and Alma Gene Moore, preceded her in death. Mrs. Moore was a member of County Line Church in Baker County, Ga.
Survivors include her daughter, Arey Moore Glass-Allen of Slocomb, Ala., a grandson, Richard Jason Glass (Nikki), a great-grandson, Clayton Jimmy Glass, both of Bainbridge, three brothers, Douglas Moore (Cathy) of Lake City, Fla., Charles Moore and Stanley Moore, both of Bainbridge and four sisters, Sherry Donalson (Robert) of Blue Ridge, Ga., Sue Whitaker of Leesburg, Ga., Hilda Lashley (Roy) of Blakely, Ga. and Myra Turner of Bainbridge, along with numerous special nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Moore’s memorial service will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Worsley and Rev. Hoyt Donley officiating.
The family requests all memorial donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation Finance Department, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, New York 10016.
