The Decatur County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a list of three nominees for a Hospital Authority seat that will become vacant June 30.

Paul Johnson, Cliff Bailey and Sufronia Y. Jones were the three nominees given at the meeting Tuesday morning. Dr. Linda Jones will be rolling off the board at the end of the month.

The Hospital Authority will pick one of these three nominees at its meeting next Tuesday, June 19.

Other Hospital Authority members appointed by Decatur County are Dr. Charles Walker (June 30, 2018), Marvelyn Carroll (June 30, 2018), Donald Barber (June 30, 2020) and Rusty Davis (June 30, 2020).

A Hospital Authority term lasts five years.
