Ida B. Swain Bush, 69, of MCCraeville, Ga, passed June 5, 2017.  Funeral Services will be Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 3 pm at Mt. Ararat P.B. Church McCraeville. Interment at Mt. Ararat Memorial Gardens. Rev Alexander Mack, Officiating, Elder Samuel L Phillips, Presiding, Elder Harry L Chaney, Pastor. Visitation at Chandler’s Funeral Home’s Chapel June 10, 2017, 3 to 7 p.m.  Pallbearers are Dantrez Griffin, Lavar Griffin, Alex Mack, Joseph Edmond, Neddrick Griffin, Herbert Swain, Vincent Edmond, Andre Mack and Brandon Alexander.

Sis Bush was born in Decatur County, Ga. to the late Calvin and Ivey Swain.  She was united in holy matrimony to Jessie Bush, who preceded her in death.  She confessed Christ at an early age, joining Mt Ararat P. B. Church.  Moving to Newark, N.J., she united in fellowship with the Abyssinia Baptist Church.  After retirement she moved back home to reunite with Mt. Ararat.  At her passing, she was a member of Rhemia Ministries International of Tallahassee, Fl.

She was employed 34 years as a nurse at the Greystone Psychiatric Hospital in Morristown, N.J.

Sis Bush leaves to cherish her memories: Children; Larry (Anita) Bush of Newark, NJ, Lynette (Ned) Griffin of Pelham, Ga. and Shakia Bush of McCraeville; Grandchildren; Dantrez Griffin, Neddrick Griffin, Lavar (Brandi) Griffin, Jaden Cunningham and Jayla Bush, Great-grand; Neddrick Griffin, Jr, Siblings; Totsie (James) Edmond, Artice Mack, Annie Doris Harrison, Sandra Swain, Shirley Wright, John L. (Minnie) Jones, Shedrick Swain, Ozell (Lucy) Swain and Tommy (Gloria) Swain; Bro-in-law Joe Laster, Michael (Karrel) Bush and Milton (Olivia) Bush, Sis-in -law; Juanita (Willie) Miller, Geraldine Peterson, Ellen Morgan, Mary Bush and Annie Rudolph, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
