Mr. Kenneth Paul Baggerly, age 93, of Brinson, Georgia, passed away early Monday, May 22, 2017, at Miller County Hospital in Colquitt, Georgia. Services for Mr. Baggerly will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Brinson Baptist Church in Brinson, Georgia. The Rev. Robert Crapps and the Rev. Ellis Hardwick will officiate. Interment will follow in Brinson Cemetery. Michael Castro, Marcus Castro, Reuben Castro, Randy McLendon, Eric Hodges, and Aaron Lambert will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 10.

Kenneth Paul Baggerly was born, October 13, 1923, in Bainbridge, Georgia, to Ottis Baggerly and Mary Butler Baggerly. Kenneth was a truck driver. He drove for the Great Northern Railroad. Kenneth served in the United States Navy during World

War II. He was stationed in the Pacific.  

Kenneth Baggerly is survived by his wife, Bonnie Crumpton Baggerly of Brinson; children, Jeanine Iuaya and husband, Hiroshi of Portland, Oregon, Faith Ellen Armstrong of San Francisco, California, Teresa Johnson and husband, Craig of Portland, Oregon, Terry Baggerly and wife, Patty of Austin, Texas, Scott Baggerly and wife, Diane of Crystal River, Florida, Sharon Dean of Brinson, Matt Dean of Brinson, Ronald Dean of Gretna, Florida, and Beverly Hodges of Blakely, Georgia; 17 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Clint, Ralph, Marvin, Wesley, and Joe and sister, Leota Carden.
