While at Alabama, she served as a lifestyle reporter for college-aged women’s magazine Alice and freelanced for Albany Living Magazine and Indian River Magazine. In addition to this, Holloway interned for South Magazine in Savannah as an editorial intern.

She was also involved in Gamma Phi Beta sorority, where she held a variety of leadership roles and involved herself in the Panhellenic community.

“I feel really blessed to be given the opportunity to report for such an amazing company,” Holloway said. “I can’t wait to meet people and start my post- grad life in Bainbridge.”

Post-Searchlight Managing Editor Powell Cobb said Holloway is a well-rounded reporter that will bring strong creativity and work ethic to The Post-Searchlight.

“I am very excited to have Jill join our staff and become involved in the Bainbridge community,” Cobb said. “I fully expect her to immerse herself in Bainbridge and Decatur County while delivering relevant news to our readers every day.”
