Miss Lane to wed Mr. Clay in October

Dr. Linda Jones and William Lane announce the engagement of their daughter, Haley Lane of Bainbridge, to Jacob Taylor Clay, son of Chip and Michi Clay of Hogansville, Georgia.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Sue Jones of Bainbridge, the late Bill J. Jones, the late Mr. Wink Lane and Ms. Frances Lane of Colquitt.

Miss Lane is a 2010 graduate of Bainbridge High School and graduated from Columbus State University in 2015, where she majored in Biology. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, with an expected date of graduation of 2021.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Knighton and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hathcock, all of Hogansville.

Mr. Clay is a 2009 graduate of Callaway High School and graduated from Columbus State University in 2014, with a degree in Biology. He is currently a student pursuing a degree in nursing.

The wedding is planned for October 21 in Iron City, Georgia, at the family farm, Walkin’ South Farms.
