Mr. Ronald Edwin Botts of Recovery, Georgia, died Monday, May 8, 2017, at Archbold Medical Center.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 13, 2017, at 3 p.m. at Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church, with Rev. Kent Barwick officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal
Rest Memory Gardens with military honors. Visitation will be Saturday, May 13, from 2 to 3 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Botts served in the US Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a self-employed farmer with Sunrise Farms.

He is survived by his wife Betty Botts of Recovery; one son, Rooster Boots of Recovery; one daughter, Bonnie (Rodney) Anderson of Recovery; two granddaughters, Roni Ann Botts and Jamie Anderson; one great-granddaughter, Kayleigh VanMater; one great-grandson, Anthony; and two sisters, Nancy Calhoun and Susan Zorn, both of Tampa, Fla.

Colquitt Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
