Kesler-Whitworth engagement announced

Joshua Whitworth and Megan Kesler of Colbert, Ga. are announcing their engagement and approaching marriage.

Joshua is the son of Roger and Maeve Whitworth, of Bainbridge, and the grandson of Bobby and Polly Whitworth and Bobby and Letha Moore.

The groom-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Bainbridge High School, and graduated from the University of Georgia in 2011, with a degree in Agriculture Education. He is employed as an agriculture educator and Young Farmer advisor in Jackson County.

Megan Kesler is the daughter of Doug and Denise Kesler, and the granddaughter of Thurman and Earlene Kesler, Clem and Jewell Church, and Lynn Church.

She graduated from Madison County High School in 2009, and from Piedmont College in 2013, with a major in Early Childhood Education. She is employed as an educator in Madison County.

The wedding is planned for May 27, 2017, at Crossroads Community Church in Athens, Ga.
