Earl Dewayne “Boley” Elkins, 65, of Climax, Ga., passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017.

The graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2017 at Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Scott Lord and Robby Barnard officiating. Bikers are serving as honorary pallbearers.

Earl Dewayne “Boley” Elkins was born December 6, 1951, in Phoenix City, Ala., the son of James Earl Elkins and Lois Rebecca Pitts Elkins. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1969. Boley married Rene` Spurlin in 1988. He attended Climax Baptist Church and enjoyed riding his Harley.

Survivors include his wife, Rene` Elkins; his children, Jamie Elkins and his wife, Kristy, Jennifer Elkins and Rob Elkins, all of Bainbridge; his sisters, Sherry Chambless and her husband, Henry, Susan Dahl and her husband, Tommy, and Patty Coumbe and her husband, Nolan; his brothers, Jimmy Elkins and his wife, Debbie, and Bill Baker; his grandchildren, Addison Caroline Elkins and Ella Grace Elkins. Boley was preceded in death by his parents.
