Mr. Johnny Trotman

Mr. Johnny Dural Trotman, age 60, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017, at his home in Bainbridge, Georgia. Services for Mr. Trotman will be held Monday, January 23, 2017, 2 pm at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry Bishop will be officiating. Interment will follow in Attapulgus Baptist Church Cemetery. Nephews of Mr. Trotman will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 1 pm.

Johnny Trotman was born June 28, 1956, in Albany, Georgia, to James Lee Trotman and Pauline Hutto Trotman. He was a member of Pretoria Assembly of God Church. Johnny worked 20 years at Amoco Fabrics. After that he worked for the City of Bainbridge and then at Harvey’s. He loved to fish. He and a cane pole could always find a bream. He enjoyed working in his yard. Johnny just enjoyed his life. He was loved by everyone he ever met. Johnny Trotman will be missed greatly by his many family members and friends.

Mr. Johnny Dural Trotman is survived by his wife, Robin Jones of Bainbridge; son, John Darrell Trotman and wife, Melissa of Bainbridge, Joshua Merritt and wife, Jocilyn of Donalsonville, and Jessica Hatcher and husband, Randy of Climax, Georgia; grandchildren, Katy Thomas, Tylan Trotman, Kiley Merritt and Reid Merritt; sisters, Elaine Hodges and husband, B.F. of Leesburg, Georgia, Kathy Ritter and husband, Ronald of Bainbridge, and Barbara Vines and husband, Steve of Attapulgus, Georgia; sister-in-law, Joann Trotman, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Linda Everett Trotman, and brothers, Jerry Jerome Trotman, James Earl Trotman, and Gerald Lee Trotman.
