Bainbridge was led in the game by junior Nadia Marshall who led all scorers with 24 points. She also had 14 rebounds and seven steals in the game.

“She’s being consistent even with the other teams’ efforts to deny her the ball and limit her touches,” coach Kelvin Cochran said. “She is being relentless on the boards and getting put backs and hitting shots she needs to hit when she is open.”

Tytianna Roseborough was the second leader scorer with 19 points as she continued her recent stretch of hot play.

“She got going late against Warner Robbins and she continued that in this game,” Cochran said. “Hopefully she can keep that up and keep going like she’s been going the last couple games through the rest of the season.”

Roseborough also had six rebounds, three assists and five steals in the game.

Kiarra King added eight assists in the game as she ran the offense from the point guard position and India Parris contributed seven points and eight rebounds.

The win was the fifth straight for the Lady Cats who have found a groove as of late.

“Everything we do from taking care of the ball to assignments on defense and execution on offense, we are just getting better and paying attention to details,” Cochran said. “Paying attention to detail is so important when you are playing big region games. We have been consistent at doing that.”

The Lady Cats traveled to Harris County on Friday with a chance to go 4-0 in region play and take control of the region. On Saturday, they host Veterans who they defeated 59-51 earlier this season.
