Myrtle Lee Brown Hurst

Myrtle Lee Hurst passed away on January 3^, 2017, after a lengthy illness in Manor Nursing Home in Bainbridge, Ga. She was born on April 26, 1925, in Cook County Ga. She was the daughter of Clarence O’del Brown, and Julia Lee Montgomery.

She attended church at the First Church of the Nazarene in Bainbridge. She was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her surviving family members are her children: sons, James E. Wood Sr., Nathan Eric Cutchens; daughter, Sandra Conley.

Children who preceded her in death were: Milton l Luke, Martha Wood Jacinto, Deborah Goza, Ronald Wayne Wood.

She had 12 grandchildren: Alethia “Neecie” Rodriguez, Jason C Wood, James E  Wood Jr,, John Kevin Wood, Chris McIntosh, Ryan Wood, Holly Wood, Janet Gordon, Kimberly Spain, Corey Jacinto, David Lauffer, Joey Goza. She had15 great-grandchildren: Jacob Rodriguez, Joshua Rodrigue, Maryana Rodriguez, Jamie Wood, Jones Wood, Amanda Rutherford, James Allsbury, Kylie  Souza, Keira Nguyen, Benson Nguyen, Kayla Spain, Alexyss Gordon, Kristina Taylor, Maggie Mustard, Kevin Wood Jr.

Her memory will remain in our hearts, and minds forever.

A memorial service will be held for her on January 21 at 2 p.m. All family members, and friends are invited to attend. The address is Faith Worship Center, 7818  County Road 374,  Donalsonville, Georgia 39845.
