Katherine Ann Merkison Killingsworth, 57, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away Monday, January 9, 2017.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2017, at First Church of the Nazarene. Interment will be at First Church of the Nazarene Cemetery.

Kathy was born April 6, 1959, in Bainbridge, the daughter of Jimmy and Peggy Merkison. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1977. She was an active member of her church, First Church of the Nazarene, and loved her family very much.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Mike Killingsworth of Bainbridge; her sons, Alan Michael Killingsworth and Matthew Bryce Killingsworth, both of Bainbridge; her mother, Peggy Merkison of Bainbridge; her brothers, Billy Merkison of Bainbridge, Paul Merkison (Donna) of Cedar Springs, Ga., and Jimbo Merkison (Missy) of Bainbridge; and her sister, Page Merkison of Bainbridge.
