Eighth grade Bearcats rout Seminole County

The Bainbridge Middle School eighth grade boys’ basketball team defeated the Seminole County Indians 69-17 in their first game back after Christmas break.
Javon Lee was the team’s leading scorer in the game with 16 points. Caleb McDowell was second with 9 and Mark Taylor and Caleb Lewis each scored 8 points in the win.
Rasad Broadnax had 6 points, Jamorris Cosby had 5 points and Casey Jones and Michael Miller each had 4 points.
Trivontay Thornton and Connor Potivent each had 2 points and Dorian Copper had one.
The BMS Cats have three home games next week at the Coliseum. Monday, they host Seminole County, Wednesday Thomas County and Thursday they concluded with Pelham. The team is currently undefeated with a 9-0 record.
