Margie Nell Middleton was born October 2, 1933, near Iron City, Georgia. Her parents, Charlie Lee Middleton and Myrtle Peters Middleton have preceded her in death. Nell married the love of her life, Jesse Reginald Hatton. For over 65 years she and Jesse raised their family and shared their lives. A wonderful homemaker and mother, Nell was a great cook. Her sour cream pound cakes, caramel and chocolate cakes were baked and shared with love. Nell and Jesse loved to travel. They had a travel trailer and would be gone for months at a time. Utah, Montana, Florida, they enjoyed all of their travels. Although traveling together was one of their greatest joys, fishing together near their home on beautiful Lake Seminole was a favorite past time. Nell and Jesse spent their 65 years enjoying their lives with each other with complete devotion one for the other. Mrs. Hatton was a charter member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Nell Hatton will be sorely missed by the family and friends she loved so very much.
