Swain-Hitchcock engagement announced

Erica Swain, daughter of Eric Swain of Climax and Elizabeth Allen of Virginia, and Hunter Hitchcock, son of Herschell and Leslie Hitchcock, of Bainbridge, are announcing their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of William and Barbara O’Donnell and of Anthony Swain and the late Doris Winchester.

Miss Swain is a graduate of Fountainebleau High School in Louisiana, and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Valdosta State University. She is employed with the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office as a training assistant.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Paul and Rosalie Hitchcock, Rebecca Jones and the late Harold Jones. He is a graduate of Bainbridge High School and he is employed as a technician with EOC1

The wedding is planned for January 16 at 11 a.m. at the Firehouse Gallery, with Pastor Ken Davidson officiating.
